Warm atmosphere, precise service, very good food. A refreshing experience for those tired of topical tourist restaurants. Don't get scared by the long menu!

Buddha Tandoori is one of those truly special places that are hard to find - full of the loveliest staff, our waitress was just a ray of sunshine! The Chicken Nepal Hot is genuinely some of the tastiest I’ve ever had. I have been thinking (and talking) about that pakora and the Momos ever since. 10/10 from start to finish, and cannot wait to return. Love it.

We have had 2 delicious meals so far on our 10 day holiday and plan to return for our last night. Staff are warm & welcoming. We had lentil soup, delicious prawn pakora that were superb and onion bhaji (sublime - flat little circles of loveliness) Chicken in coconut milk was sweet and rich - too filling for me so they happily packed the leftovers up to take home! The next time I had tandoori chicken which was freshly made and sizzling on a hotplate with onions underneath. My husband had a deer & asparagus curry - a Himalayan speciality that was very tasty. Next time another delicious speciality of lamb curry. Both times we had a peshawar naan each slightly different but charred delicately and again leftovers came home with us. To end we adored the mango kulfi (with 2 spoons to share) cubed in a bowl - a real must. They offer a range of teas ( including massage chai!) coffees and liquers to finish. What a lovely evening out. Highly recommended
