Although the food here can be very tasty, there are too many issues with this restaurant to properly recommend. Both the quality of cooking, and the portion sizes are very inconsistent. Sometimes the prawns in the prawn taco were perfectly cooked, sometimes slightly overdone (which makes a big difference). Seasoning can also be a bit off with not enough mango guacamole depending on the day, and nothing comes with most of the dishes. They would do better with slightly lower prices or have side dishes at a more reasonable price. Another problem is that some staff are really good, some not so good. We once asked to sit at a specific table when the restaurant was empty and were told we couldn't because of there were bookings for all the tables. When we left 1 hour later we were still the only people in there. One staff member who seems to be the owner/manager has a terrible attitude and was quite rude. It's a shame because I'd happily eat here much more often as the food can be delicious when well prepared and the staff are on the ball but somebody is not running this restaurant properly and it's a shame.

Great Mexican place! Got a couple of vegetarian options (starter and main dishes) they have a countdown for free tequila shots but be aware you only get one real shot at the end of the night (largest countdown) the rest are watered down. Still pretty good food and environment.
Decent Mexican food, but exceptionally slow service ruined the experience. It was not busy. Largely, the staff seemed dysfunctional, more concerned with serving free (half?) shots of tequila than getting our order right or bringing us the coffee and check we had asked for 20 minutes earlier. We spent 2 hours total here, 30 minutes or less of which accounted for eating and drinking.
Great atmosphere! Fresh tasting food with some unique combinations. The mashed sweet potato and leeks were lovely. Great service and the food was out really quick too. There are even free tequila shots every 40 minutes! Slightly overpriced food for what we ordered, but we would definitely go back again.
Quite nice place to have Mexican food at the Baixa in Faro! The food is delicious and you have nice options from sharing to individual dishes! The drinks are worth it and not that expensive (Margarita is 3.5 euros). You have a clock inside and when it reaches to 00:00:00, it's a free shot of tequila for everyone eating there! Nice customer service, I must say!

Great place to chill out and have a nice meal. Corona bottles chandelier dominates the cosy Mexican inspired decor. Great chilly and tacos. Great margeritas ! Deserts didn't disappoint either. Service is second to none. This place may just have the best smiles in the business! Oh, and get ready for the Mariachi surprise...
