The UCP's Engineering Faculty (FEUCP), established in 2000, promotes excellence in academic education in Engineering (graduate/post graduate), research, development and innovation focused in Biomedical Engineering, Information Technologies, Civil Engineering, Environmental and Urban Planning, Mechanical and Industrial Engineering. FEUCP develops Education/Advanced Training and Research in it's fields of competence with a multidisciplinary staff including resident faculty and invited experts with strategic views on the labour market needs. FEUCP cooperates with companies, healthcare providers, universities and research institutes, and regulators and governamental authorities. Evidence of scientific competence and state of the art experimental facilities, specialized equipments allowed FEUCP to participate in national and international research networks and projects (either as coordinator or co-partner). FEUCP is an academic community proving success in the preparation of highly qualified professionals that contribute to society in various areas of knowledge. Future projects include consolidation of achievements and further developments.
