A small but interesting museum about the history of Póvoa de Varzim. They have different special exhibitions all over the year. its located quite in the middle f the city, so you can combine it with different kind of trips. Some other attractions are also near.

È un interessante viaggio nella storia della città, nelle sue caratteristiche di paese in cui la pesca ha da sempre rappresentato la principale fonte di sostentamento. Traspare l'orgoglio di ciò, della sua razza (intesa come costituzione fisica) poveira caratteristica, dei suoi eroi nei salvataggi in mare come nelle guerre, della sua semplicità ed attaccamento ai valori di aiuto reciproco e di solidarietà sociale. Alcune sezioni interessantissime, altre un po' 'tirate'. Nel complesso assolutamente da non perdere. Costo dell'ingresso: 1 euro!
