Lidl is increasingly popular and it's easy to see why, although other, larger supermarkets are catching up on price. As a guy, what I really like is that there's only one or two varieties of everything - which makes shopping so much quicker! Having said that, there's fresh bread made throughout the day and other products are of excellent quality. Don't expect anything too exotic in the fruit and vegetables section...

There is parking. The store is clean no smells. Prices are fair. They always offer good quality bargains. The staff are cheerful and helpful. The range of products are of good quality. The store is the correct size for shopping meaning all at hand and not an exhausting experience. Been to Lidl in UK France and Portugal and each store a pleasure to shop in. Wish they could operate in South Africa.
