We found this agency on the Web and we planned our trip from Porto.Miss Azevedo was very helpfull to help us to plan our trip. It was a blast! very nice cruise on the Douro river,excellent explanation from the guide on boat. But the summum was the excursion to the Enoteca - Quinta da Avessada.What a place! The wine tasting and the meal were so good! Our guide, Paulo,was an excellent guide,very knowledgeable and always talk about this Enoteca with passion.You know he loves his job and this place. Highly recommended. Thanks again Paulo! and thaks again to you Miss Azevedo.

What an amazing day. Start at San Bento station. Top tip when the rep from Douro Best gives you your train ticket to Regua take a seat in any carriage on the right hand side for best views as the train enters valley proper. From Regua the company conveys you to the small cruise boat at Pinhao. After the cruise back into luxury air con van with old mate Paul the fantastic laid back guide and off up a high mountain. Stop along the way for a port tasting, Then onward to the Avessada Enoteca winery for a five course beautiful lunch. Each course paired with port and more wine. Then waddle over to the distillery for yes more tastings. Cruise about the grounds and then we all push on to a bread shop and a wine sales co-op for yes more tastings. And not just a sip like Aussie I mean bottles if you can handle it. And also no sales pressure so buy some port or not as you like. Sara Pinto at the travel end is great to deal with if you get stuck. This we all agreed was a number one day out, exceeded all our expectations. Even the dogs are laid back.

Would not recommend to anyone who does not like having to stand on a full bus, queueing for exiting a building, being a substitute teacher at a school for delinquents or anyone who understands the concept of value for money.

I purchased a last minute 2-day trip, and I am so glad that I did. It was the highlight of the trip to Portugal. The cruise was scenic, leisurely, and comfortable. The overnight hotel stay was sensational. Everyone that we interacted with was warm and friendly.

I cruised up the river from Porto mid June and greatly enjoyed it. Sara was extremely helpful and my gluten free needs were well catered for. The overnight hotel was very pleasant and included pools and a gym. Some great winery visits included with excellent food. Highly reccoment this company

Please reward Lourdes Pinto for her excellent leadership, organization, and interpersonal skills; she also provided individual attention for the 4 non-Portuguese speakers with a private discussion and answered all our remaining questions. Definitely would recommend your company for an immersive multi-sensory day trip on the Douro.

Booked a tour for the train to Regua and cruise back to Porto. We got stuck in a train car full of slow people who were blocking the platform and the representative abandoned us at the train station. Fortunately for us he left behind another couple as well, and together we were able to figure out where to go. When we arrived at the boat, the representative was even further on - not searching for the four of us at all! Staff on the cruise were wonderful, but it was a disappointing start. I would definitely use another company if we did this again.
