A great meal , elegant setting, and professional and courteous staff. It is a bit pricey for the area, but still worth the money. I would have given it 5 stars if not for the fact that I had a meal that was just as good the day before that only cost 1/3 of the price. I couldn't very well see my way to given them the same rating when the other place beat it on price. But it was Lisbon, and Lisbon is more expensive than the rest of Portugal. In Portugal, you can get some great value for gourmet meals when you get away from some of the cities that are popular with tourists. In any case, I had the Duck Confit which was very good, their Creme of Cod soup was exceptional. All in all, not a bad place to spend a little extra. The house wine was pretty good, far better than I expected for the house wine.
Lovely dishes, not so gourmet. Elegants and good tasted. Good deserts from Portuguese culture. Quick place, on a big and old kitchen from age's, and lot of history in the restaurant, palace and garden.

A perfect place for a quiet, refined meal, just beside the Palace.
Awesome environment but unfortunately the food is not too good. Bad dish presentation and expensive. Bad value for money. Shame that a place with so much potential can be so mediocre.
Quality and price
Worst restaurant done in Portugal in 10 days. Not fresh food. Not gastronomic at all.
