I finally didn't make it to study at this university, due to the incompetence of the admin team. An advice to international students: this university admits you to a class, but then will even not do the minimal steps to support you to get you there. So finally, I didn't get a visa - because the University didn't send my name to the Portuguese authorities (DGES) which would have been responsible to proceed my name to the respective embassy. No or late answers to emails. Difficult to reach by phone - so why do you admit international students, if you don't support them ??

Basically just get your degree as fast as you can so you can leave. Can definitely be fun in the first two years but gets boring really fast. The library is amazing, I gotta be honest with that. But you’re only allowed water and you are not allowed to breathe loudly or the ladies will tell you to shut up. However, they can talk and laugh like chickens whenever they want. The academic services are just awful! There’s really nice people working there but the ones that aren’t nice outnumber the ones who are. If you ever have the bad luck to be greeted by Sandra just run! She won’t help you at all and will have a bad attitude the whole time. She’s the one with short hair (Karen style) and starts tattooed on her neck. The engineer faculty gets really cold in the winter and they don’t seem to care about turning the heat on. The cafeteria is nice tho and not expensive. Overall you can get some nice time going out and get good grades, so enjoy I guess.
