It was really good experience. We wanted to buy the wine this morning but we don't have enough time because we should leave early. This shop open earlier than other shop. We found so many kind of wine with reasonable price. We bought small size wine. Even though it's really cheap, the owner wrapped it really hard for our travel. Thank you for kind service. If I'll be back to Porto, I would visit your places. Thanks!

Very good shop especially for making a cake. There are a lot of stuffs for cakes. They told me how to make a traditional cake in detail and what I need. I made it:) Thank you!
Amazing fine food store. Traditional and local. Founded by local entrepreneur Januário Ferreira in June of 1926, just 3 years before the 1929 crash. Despite the great timing and lack of capital, Januário reached a significant success, and when in 1965 one of his sons took charge, the store still had the same interiors. They managed to stay in business during the supermarket boom of the 80s and 90s and the store is currently run by 3rd-generation family members.
I went there twice and I absolutely love the store.
The store is a Porto monument, must see! We ordered from their website to the hotel, they were extremely nice, helped us with the order, and delivered everything quickly and nicely packaged for the flight.

Uma icónica mercearia fina da cidade do Porto que já atravessou várias gerações. Aqui se encontra produtos da mais elevada qualidade, onde se destaca o Bacalhau seco que poder ir até aos 24 meses de cura. Espaço muito acolhedor, bem decorado e organizado, com um atendimento de excelência. Encontra-se também aqui excelentes produtos para confecção pasteleira, frutos secos, compotas, excelentes alheiras e uma boa garrafeira de vinhos.
