Very friendly, even let us use the boards from 4pm - 10am the next day. Which made it possible to ride in the sunset and sunrise. The prices are way too much - at other spots you get equipment surf lessons for the same price. Another star deducted for the equipment itself. Didn't seem to be up to standard, pretty old, used boards and suits.

Don't expect too much. The price is way too high for what you get. The equipment is old and should not be allowed to touch the water anymore. Most of the boards are broken, poorly fixed and gross. They don't take the corona regulations serious. To the course: I did a 1 1/2 hour course and received little feedback. the instructor seemed to be afraid of the water, because he was coaching from outside. The group size was good, just 4 people, but the chosen surf spot was too crowded by other schools. Good was that the stuff is quite flexibel with rental times... The beach is amazing and the waves are awesome. :)

Surfboard rentals on the beach. TIP: If you are looking for a hard top longboard — keep walking. The rental place next door has a 9”0’ hard tip from Hawaii to rent!

I took 10 lessons along a week. Prices are not bad and I have some fond memories of enthusiastic instructors like Eduardo, Dean, Peter, Fab or Max. All of them were nice, kind and good teachers. My last lessons were with Akvile and I was truly dissapointed. She seemed uninterested and talking most of the time with other instructors while we were in the water. It was a sour ending for otherwise a valuable 7 day course, There are no Covid19 security measures during the classes so make yourself some space between the students during the beach classes, or you will end up very near the rest of the students. All in all a good experience. Thanks

Very localised beach. Avoid.

Staff is not really courteous and friendly. Had a problem with my wetsuit but nobody did really care about it like "just deal with it, it's not our problem". Simple questions get an unpersonal and harsh answer. The price for a board and wetsuit is way to much for they quality they have! In Aljezur i just paid 2/3 of the price and had perfect equipment with high quality wetsuits. Not happy at all!

Tourist trap. Nothing else to say. Paid 45 to receive TWO pieces of advice from the instructors. What I was especially disappointed by was the lack of safety measures, we were all thrown in the water at no distance from one another, my future wife got hit by a nearby student, and I risked that a couple of times - it would have been enough to break us down in smaller groups with a bit of distance.

First, surf school course was excellent and helpful. Three stars because of the poor customer experience, I booked online only to find out that it's cheaper to pay on arrival and without booking.
