The staff is very helpful and friendly. The meals are incredibly cheap and in generous portions. Very simple camping, that needs some maintenance. The bathrooms are old and not taken care off. The tents area can be crowdy. I would go back off season when it's quieter

Bare minimum, hot water only kind of, dirty, broken. In a slope, thus no privacy. One person managing the whole campground is rarely at the reception (but needed to open the gate to go in/out). Avoid, if you can; or don’t expect anything.

This is one of the nicest campsites I've stayed at. It's quiet and peaceful. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The bar/restaurant is lively with residents and locals. It's not the easiest of roads to get here but worth it. Can't give 5 stars as the shower and toilet facilities are not the best, but they function and do what they are supposed to do. Very rustic and in my opinion very beautiful. If I'm ever in this region again I'll definitely return. Love it.

kind receptionists Amazing food in the restaurant Hot water in the shower and good facilities in relation to the price The location in the middle of nowhere (easy to arrive with satnav) is perfect to disconnect Serra Arrabida is a stunning place - lack of grass area to put up the tent

I would give this place 2 stars had it not been for the grumpy receptionist who couldn't speak Spanish English or French. He directed me into a parking spot for my caravan and backed me into a fence post breaking my tail light. Not a happy start. No apologies from him. I began to think that maybe he's simple. There's nothing to do here except look at the chain link fence he made me park next to. There has to be better ways to spend your time. Jog on would be my advice unless you really like mosquitoes. Don't get me started on the Soviet gulag bathroom facilities.

Don't confuse this place with the higher rated CEADA place next door. I think that the ceada place is just for school kids. I am writing this at midnight, to soundtrack of yelling children at the neighbouring ceada camp site, situated 40 meters from my tent, across a fence and a dry stream. Sadly, neither the fence, nor the stream, stop the noise. At least they stopped playing the euro house that was blasting out earlier. I wish I was 12, and camping with them. They sound like they are having more fun than me! The geography of this site is undoubtedly beautiful, spectacular even, especially during the magic hour just before sunset. However.... It was very crowded when we came during high season; 1 of our tent pegs is just under the neighbouring caravan. I would say we had a bad plot, but all the plots are very close and plenty others seemed worse. Facilities are basic and acceptable. There is a bar on site but I think you need a car to get to a restaurant or supermarket. The beaches are very hard to access. We failed to get to 3 of them in a car. One is only accessible to hospital patients. The other one was behind a road block, I think it's some kind of one way system. The other had no parking.
