Typical Orbitur: expensive and lousy conditions. Camping enclosed by roads and an industial complex next to it. Located in dune / forrest like area. Soft sandy areas destined for campers. We were shown 'the best location'.... which consisted of soft sand and very hard to get the van leveled. Again one of those sites more focused on bungalows. Therefor camping and guests degraded to 2nd grade. Sanitary facilities ample and clean. Go there if you have to, avoid if you can.

it's a nice quiet place but 4 because Portugal Completely bans the use of asbestos... So why is the showers roof covered with it? If you concerned with your health, think twice before sleeping next to it because it's a bit crumbling and they covering it with paint... not a good solution! And why aren't the visitors informed about it? Why don't you just replace it?
The MOST clean camping We experienced in Portugal! The staff is nice, there are plenty of trees; the bar and supermarket is kind of sad but everything works and the toilet is seriously clean!
this camping is extremely clean and comfortable not very hot and not very cold
This is a site for tents only, not campervans. Not easy to park, poor signage. Sandy ground means heavy vehicles getting stuck. Reception staff not helpful. Not en ough facilities for people. 2 shower, 4 teoiletsl, 1 urinals. Do not come here
We stayed at this campground in June. The woman at check in showed us the map of the site and warned us of tree roots at the back of the site. We knew we would stay just one night and with this warning of poor pitches, we asked her to tell us the best place for easy parking and exit. On the map, she circled for us the area in front of the pool. We took her recommendation and parked in this grassy area. The place was great until we went to leave and crossing the grass found ourselves stuck (7.5 meter campervan) up to our wheel wells in a sand pit. The maintenance man tried to help with his tractor, but it was far too small to pull us free. He said he knew someone with a larger tractor who could come for 35. I thought it strange then that he knew the price off the top of his head. When the tractor arrived, the tractor pulled us out and we were finally able to leave. I thanked the farmer, and he said he'd already been out that week for someone else and three times this season. This rang further alarm bells to me, as it was very clearly obvious that the campground knows of this problem. On our way out, I stopped at reception to address the issue and request a refund of our costs. The young person at the desk got immediately defensive saying it wasn't her fault. I asked her to phone the management to address the issue of the previous woman telling us to park in this location, which was a known hazard without any signage to indicate the hazard. The manager wouldn't speak to me and said to the defensive check-in person that they couldn't refund the cost of the stay or the tractor fees but that we could try to send an email requesting a credit for a future stay! We absolutely DO NOT recommend this campsite to anyone with a campervan as it's full of known hazards and completely negligent staff.
Tall pine trees provide plenty of shade, making it a nice spacious place for tents. Only difficulty are the slopes, but you'll just need to be creative to find an horizontal sleeping spot. Toilets and showers miss hangers and there's no toilet paper. 35 minutes walk to the beach, 5 by car.
Beautiful campsite, reasonably priced, clean ablution facilities. Close to main bus route
