Extremely clean toilets and showers. Very hot water in showers. Really nice people managing the facilities.

Beautiful camping facility... but service is atrocious.

Clean, quiet and walking distance of old towns

This is one of my favourite camping grounds in Portugal, due to it's location and price. There are no pitches but there is usually plenty of free space available. The toilets and showers are quite old but mostly clean. There is no mini-market or even a bar inside the camp, but there are two large supermarkets under 5 minute walk and a restaurant across the street. Access to the excellent municipal pool across the street is included in the price.

This is still my favourite place from all campsites. I highly recommend. It's very reasonable and you are spoiled for camping choices. Friendly staff and good view spots to choose from. Facilities were food, nice hot showers. Clean facilities. Staff were veey friendly and welcoming. Not far from shops.

I was pleasantly surprised by this campsite; I hadn't planned on staying here and turned up last-minute but had a good experience. I especially liked the fact you could use the local swimming pool for free and that it was so close to town and decent places to eat.

A little run down when we visited, but improvements were being done to the shower blocks. Pulled in for 1 night, stayed 3 !
