Dans l'Atelier Hostel is a beautifull place made from old stones, located just 2 minutes from the historical center. They offer a wide range of accomodations like single rooms, double rooms and they also have a dormitary. There is a kitchen and a beautifull hall to rest, read or work. They is free wifi. The owners are awesome and they can help you to find the right places to go during your stay. I enjoyed a lot my stay and I will problably come back in Braga...

I could write a whole lot but I think everything has already been mentioned. Just don't go there!! You have other and way better options in Braga for the same price if not even cheaper. We were there for 2 hours and decided to leave, mainly because of the bad hygiene standard. Canceled our booking but never got any money back. Have been to many hostels and this was the worst I have seen so far.
We got a room without window and when asked to change to another one that was free, the staff member refused. The room vented to the corridor, where people were talking at night and smoking on the porch right next to. Loud music in the lobby. No warm water in the morning. No towels (as advertised in the offer). Not dirty, but the bathroom looks run down. No staff at the reception to complain to in the morning. All this would be OK, if the price was not a bit off compared to the country's standards (not counting in Lisbon or Porto). Can't recommend it, to say the least.
Extraordinary place! The hostel is at a 5 minutes walking distance from the city centre. The hostel itself is actually an art workshop, which you can witness in every room in the house. Very cool and beautiful work! The owners are very friendly and helpfull. Beds were good, as well as the prices. The hostel is located at a beautiful square with a statue and lots of different flowers! Point for improvement: disable the doorbell at night! In the middle of the night we were woken up 2 times because a couple didn't bring a key :(

A hostel in a beautiful city, it have a lot of potential but there was some issues. Bought a night but didn't get a key to get in, had to ring the bell 6 times untill someone came to open. No lockers for bags, and didn't get the room I booked. But the people staying there were all cool though. Also, hot showers was not included. Otherwise it was a very nice atmosphere in the living areas, with some art in different shapes.
Very artistic decorated hostel , you can even try it yourself. Small details still need finishing but nice staff and nice atmosphere. For its price offcourse, if you want clean plastic everywere try Ibis but it wont be anywere near as Cosy.
