Little gem of a bookstore in the center of Lisbon. All books in English. Very friendly owner. A small section on Art where I found two lovely books! Plus the bookstore has a discount room! Not to be missed.

The only English book store in Lisbon. Moreover has non-friction books. I found shelf with books in physics and mathematics. The owner speaks English perfectly so there won't be any problems with communication. Since it is private store it is impossible to pay by international card.

Really nice place with a big collection of English books! The employees are very friendly and like to help looking for a book. You can also order books here and pick it up at a later time. The books are used books, but most are in good condition :)

I came across the lovely Bookshop Bivar during a pleasant walk through Lisbon with a friend. The shop was cheery and bright and had a great selection of lightly used English books. The owner was wonderful and helped us with our questions as we looked around for a very enjoyable 45 minutes. I didn't want to leave but after purchasing a couple of very good reads I am looking forward to my next visit. Thank you Eduarda!

One of my favourite bookstores in Lisbon if not my favourite. Second hand books in english in pristine condition. There a great section of classics but truly a great variety of other genders. Sometimes I take my books to exchange here and the owner is very fair if the books are in good condition. Also the owner is a very warm and sweet person and you can tell she does a wonderful work for the neighbourhood by being there!
