On a recent holiday to Tavira as usual we visited the ACT charity shop. We do this so we may contribute to the people who are needing help in the city. As we approached we noticed that the shop was well attended by customers. We had our masks on and entered the show room and browsed around the two sales areas.. I noticed along with my wife that the manager was not wearing a mask. On the way outside I confronted the owner and asked him why he was not wearing a mask and he told me that people in this area and also the local authority said it was better not to wear a mask as you are going to touch your mouth. My wife and I walked away in disgust. On reflection the shop was dusty and unkempt. The two other members of staff were using masks. BEWARE GENEROSITY CAN BE A HEALTH HAZARD Bridget and Keith York

Great selection of second hand furniture etc. Very friendly staff!
Arrived at 3pm with 4 bags of clothes to donate. The shop was closed, people were waiting outside. Came back an hour later, still closed and more people waiting. The telephone is not answered, left voicemail to which there was no response. Gave up and went home.
Loads of good stuff and very reasonable
A great charity shop! Large stocks of clothes, furniture, household items and English books at very reasonable prices. Handy for the station.
Nice owner
Thanks
