Nicely decorated place, with ocean view and kids area. Very kind and professional staff. Amazing tomato rice (typically portuguese, resembles a risotto) that is served as a side dish. We had it with petingas (fried little sardines).

We were SO lucky to have been able to secure a table outside without a reservation, but I'd highly recommend calling for a reservation a day in advance to be safe. The dining experience was fantastic. The food was very special, beautifully prepared, and charmingly presented. Our servers were particularly delightful, one of which we chatted up quite a bit and learned a lot about the history of the restaurant and the people working there - a family-run business with most people working there having been friends since childhood, growing up on that very beach which they enjoy a drink together after work every night as a big, extended family. And then, of course, the sunset. Ugh. It'll pull at your heart. Thank you, Zizi!

The service was great, and the food was well cooked. I must say if you want to experience a traditional Portuguese restaurant this is not it. It is a very very old restaurant BUT the renovation has changed it into a very instagrammable location. I also would like to note that the prices are higher than maybe a traditional Porto restaurant.. BUT you do get super fresh fish ! It basically is caught there !! So it’s worth it :)
