We went here for a quick bite and a drink. We opted for Aqui É Petisco. The waiting staff were not friendly even if I ordered in Portuguese. They had no caracois this can happen but the meat balls we had were luke warm and not flavoursome. We’ll visit again but we’ll try another joint at the market.

Notalho. Unfortunately, this meat was horrible. It seems like somebody was sitting on my hamburger during 1 week, and then decided finally roast it. And salad has so much oil, that I'm really thinking about take it home in a bottle, for some emergency French-fries, or in case of lack of oil at house. You know, the Armageddon is coming, and all markets are destroyed. No oil! At all! And than - Bingo! Thank you Notalho! I have a bottle of oil from your salad! Well. Guys, stop sitting on hamburgers and put less oil in salad and everything will be fine!

I was surprised by the size of this market, it's large and spacious and had almost what's needed. I had a couple of cold ones and the atmosphere helped me enjoy them

Good food and good variety, reasonable price, expect to pay more than other good places. Nice to have different types of food in the same place.

Nice traditional market with all that you could expect to find. Additionally there is recent food court with several options.

Excellent place to meet friends, have a drink and chat. Great variety of food and drinks. A must go place in Algés. For lunch of dinner. It also has a food market on the other side, with fruits and fish booths.

Great food and choice. Eateries that don't have English menus on the wall beside them all seem to have English menus if you ask at the counter. Only downside is that the music is loud, so if you want to relax more, are hard of hearing or not in the mood for noise, this may annoy some people.
