I had to take a taxi despite having a daily ticket, because the last bus didn't come. Else I would have to spend the night at the bus station! A few hours before I asked the information worker and she assured me that the schedule is correct. When the price is as high as here, they should at least ensure that the bus appears. I totally do not recommend this company!

Very near ce place and staff are very good , they behaviour is fantastic.
Very bad organised. Also very bad quality of service. Be careful with them. Especially line 403. Don't rely on the timetable. The buses sometimes arrive earlier or later. Just wait for the bus at the bus stop. Very, very bad service.
The price is a joke and the buses don't even appear!
Went to Sintra as a tourist, and Scotturb was the only option to travel from palace to palace as they hold a monopoly over the public transport lines of the area and recently non-resident car traffic was banned. To start off, they charge you 5 (line 435) or 7(line 434) for a return trip (you can get off midway to visit and get back on, but you can't do the same path twice unless heading back to the station), which as a tourist seems like a serious overcharge for a public transport service. In comparison, a 24h metro, bus and streetcar ticket in Lisbon costs 6 (making as many trips as you wish aswell). After the ticket price, buses have a horrible frequency. Line 434 being the most popular has plenty buses, but line 435 which goes to the other palaces (this is another tourist route, mind) has an unacceptable 30 minute frequency. By the time it arrived, so many people were waiting the small, 20-seat bus left chock-full of standing passengers after only the second stop. Also, information desks are scarce and the employees uncooperative. Like another experience at tourist desks in Lisbon, they only seem to be there to make sure you pay, not actually enjoy and use the service. However, as it is, if you want to visit Sintran palaces, this horrendous company is your only option unless you want to spend even more money on taxi tuk-tuks. Only point in their favor is the buses (the ones I went on at least) are modern.
no stars, absolutely awful service, not enough buses at peak times and mostly 1 an hour and even with this pathetic service they still manage to be late. Unfriendly, unhelpful drivers as well
Worst bus service ever however it’s monopoly in Sintra
Recommend a tuk tuk to get up to the castles instead of bus 734. They could be overpriced (I don't know), but at least they're able to move past the cars. Bus is stuck in a nightmarish traffic jam. Not their fault though, it's the city's fault for allowing it, thus would be unfair to give 1*.
