Really nice vegan food. Really friendly owner. Even my meat eating partner loved it. Loses 1 star as they don't accept debit or credit card :-( but they did let me do a bank transfer and we're really nice about it. Even offered I could come back another day to pay!

Wow! Veggie Momi is a true gem! It’s rare to find such authentic places these days when every cafe seems to mode it’s design after the same insta and Pinterest page. Veggie Momi was so kind, welcoming and funny. We felt immediately at home. The meal of the day is a great value and tasted delicious. She even gave us some extra afterwards when she saw that we were both still a little hungry will recommend to all my friends passing through the area
Traveling in Portugal is wonderful, so much to see. After awhile, one can grow a little tired of cured ham and bread. Portuguese don’t eat a lot of vegetables, so I was starving for them. Then I found Veggie Momi in Albufiera, a coastal town known for English-speaking ex-pats, and am in absolute heaven. “All is vegan here”. The owner, Monica, cooks all the food herself in a tiny kitchen and it is all delicious. She is an animal rights activist and educator. Highly recommend.
