Unique place with an amazing local cuisine. What is the most impressive - prices. It is very affordable and with a high quality of food and service. Portion of main dishes are quite big! You can share it for sure! Especially meat dishes. Very helpful staff!

Must visit in Ponta Delgada! Delicious food, fair prices and good drinks. The staff helps you with choosing wine or other drinks. One of the best restaurants on the island! You have to do a reservation because they are almost always booked out (even during COVID), but it is definitely worth it.

Great place to have some authentic Portuguese food in Ponta Delgada. Very easy access just in the city centre. Food was delicious and the desert was very good also. Staff was friendly and professional.

The restaurant is a experience of all. The meals are very delicious and you get a lot of thing for a normal price. The ambience is awesome because the restaurant was a prison bevor. Our waitress was very fast and friendly. Our evening was very well and we want to say thank you for the great time.

We had our dinner there. We Order our starter shrimp, fries and shrimp carpuchhi. Menu - catch of the day fish, lamb stew (borrego) and sizzling lapas. We finished with desert white sweet pastry. Food we taste are all fantastic. We loved it. The cost was also affordable. We drinks a lot of beers like more than 6. It was amazing.. We paid 74 euro in all total. I just love it...

Had high expectations because of all the rave reviews. We went on Sunday at 5pm for dinner as tables were all reserved from 7pm. Dinners were rolling in even then. It’s a lovely airy environment, great vibes with lots of young dinners. Service was great. The reason for the average score was mainly down to the food. Whilst it’s great value, the limpets was disappointing. Out of the whole portion, maybe only 5/6 were full size the rest were like tiny whelks. The signature tuna dish was ok, but the beef kebab was a bit tough. But the flavours just didn’t hit the mark for me unfortunately. If it wasn’t for the hype I would have scored A Tasca a bit higher as it’s great value and had a nice atmosphere. But since every review described it as the go to restaurant in Town I just expected higher.
