A peaceful oasis in a stretch of the Camino de Portuguese that is quite urban and at parts even dangerous (when crossing highways). The owners are lovely friendly people. There is lots of seating where one can view the spectacular sunset. There are ample toilet and shower facilities. There is also a lounge with games and books for pilgrims. There are lots of small details that just makes the whole experience of staying at this albergue pleasant, from the practical kitchen (you can do anything except bake plus it's close to a Lidl, so you can cook a proper meal for once) to the newspapers to place in one's shoes to absorb the moisture. The cost of washing is quite steep but then again they do have a special place where one can hand wash and dry clothing. A must on your way to Santiago.

Review is for walking and cycling pilgrims. Don't worry about being off the route because a 2km walk up the road has you rejoin the Caminho. This place rocks. Great views, clean rooms, kitchen, living room, etc. My only advice is to stop at the supermarket before for breakfast and dinner because breakfast is at 730am and only takeout for dinner.

Beautiful, renovated albergue - perfect stay for pilgrims. The bed is around 12 and additional services like tower and laundry are also available.
