A great hotel for the family in an historic building in the centre of Viseu. Great rooms and friendly service . Beautiful pool but Spa needs to be updated/redesigned. Food at the hotel is delicious

Five stars for the value. Beautiful Pousada from an old hospital. 3 foot thick stone walls with modern wood and glass. Had a fabulous corner room with large opening windows. The hotel is a great example of renovation and repurposing the balances a modern and warm feeling to guests. The reception and room preparation was excellent. We booked same day in the spring for a \Family\ room - in this case a well sized suite with fold out couch- and it was all setup 2 hours later when we arrived. Walking distance to market and restaurants. Mini fridge, nice breakfast.
Near to Viseu city center lies this charming hotel, which was once an hospital. You will find a big room, a big bed and a big smile from the staff. Parking is on the back, with plenty of parking spaces and two power outlets to charge your EV (ask permission upon reservation). Breakfast is good, but it won't dazzle you. The inner pool is very small... just the enough to take a refreshing bath. Children are not allowed during the afternoon in the inner pool.
Very beautiful space, the best was the spacious room with terrace! The least good thing is the very small pool for a hotel of that size and the breakfast is a little weak for the expected!
Pousada turned and renovated into a very nice hotel with simple design. It restored from a former hospital. Still keeping its shape and structure both inside and outside. Friendly staff with good services. Nice dishes too.
We had an issue with the room, and the staff responded very professionally and immediately. This shows very good hotel management.
What a charming place! Room was big and clean. Great breakfast with plenty of choices and very nice service. I would definitely come back!
