Very nice place and nice discovery and well organised also safe for kids. I didn’t put 5 stars ️ why? 1- Communication skills of the staff are limited to Portugees Language knowing that a lots of French, Spanish, English speaking visitors are coming... 2- The safari truck is not well maintained and dirty As we had to clean ours by our selves 3- No staff availability in the Park as all of them are in the reception... 4- The parking outside is not well maintained 5- The Main Street guidance are not very clear Please take this as postive as we had a very positive day

Good place to visit with kids, caring employees great with the animals and very polite with the visitors. Needs investment to improve conditions. A place to go to

Finally an attraction away from the beach! Picturesque scenery, rafting, playground sooo creative, and safari(!) where we could almost touch a giraffe! Best way to spend family Sunday. Clean, safe, not crowded, beautiful. Top!

Good local park. The Birds of Prey shows are definitely worth the entry fee. There are 3 different shows throughout the day and we were able to hold an owl during the earliest. The river rapid/raft rode is also worth the 3 each as you can go unlimited times, although it was only open for 1 hour while we were there.

Lovely park. Beautiful and fun for both kids and adults too!

This shouldn’t be called “safari” the correct naming would be “low quality zoo”. If you are looking to look at a lot of animals you would be better served in Lisbon’s zoo. You need to wait in line even if you bought a ticket and the line isn’t that good. If you also made a mistake of going on a weekend and bought a rafting ticket, you’l have fun waiting in line for an hour(if you come 10minutes before the start) but if you actually got in the raft, you’l have fun, it’s a nice ride but when the ticket salesperson says to you “you can go as many times as you want” the waiting part isn’t mentioned. Now the “safari” part, you get put into a cart that goes after the tractor and it’s open, so when you get out you’ll be fully covered in dust but that would be OK if you would see at least some animal variety but you only see a few different buffaloes, antelopes and a few giraffes. There is some extra content like lemurs feeding or presentation about reptiles and it might be fun if your host has a good microphone ( seen three presentations and all of them had this issue and what the host says isn’t repeated). Another thing both with safari and the presentations is that they are in Portuguese and there is not a hint in any other language. To sum everything up, if you are looking for safari experience, this is not the place, but if you are fine with waiting and having some space for kids to play, are just looking to see a handful of animals and to just have a nice and not that costly day, than you will probably enjoy the adventure.

Cute little park with some exotic animals and birds. Birds of prey show was fun to watch but would be much better if you could understand Portuguese. The African rafting experience was also worth the money. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

Fine to go with kids. They do a decent job. Don't compare it to other European or US safari parks, it's on the low end. Dirt road leads here and nothing is paved, hard to push a stroller around. Prices are reasonable. Not much in English so if your portugese is rusty or absent be warned. Everyone in the park is friendly and if you have little kids, it's a good way to spend a day.
