Close to the city, free parking day / night. We stayed here for 3 nights and biked to Porto during the day. It looks safe, we had no problems. Its very crowded though, there were tens of campers so if you come late, in the evening or something, you might not be able to find a spot. There is NO water, NO electricity, NO waste water and Chen toilet disposal spots. Just a parking spot to sleep. It takes good sun without shadow in the middle parts of the parking so your solar panels will help you quite a bit.

Close to Porto. Seemed safe for us. Busy but spots available even late at night. No services.

Just a car park some on cobbles some muddy.woken by planes at 06:00. Has bins. Fairly long walk into Gaia and then to Porto. About 7 mile round trip. Found Gaia marina near wash-house has no parking restrictions which is better and a ferry to Porto side

Piece of flattish wasteland separated from the river Douro by a local road. Road quite narrow with bends so not ideal to access from main road for larger motorhomes. Potholes at entrance to parking area. Boardwalk leads back into Gaia - opposite bank from Porto. Great to cycle or walk to the centre.

Very convenient for visiting Porto. Entrance could be a bit smoother and a pity there isn't an area de servicio (motorhome waste disposal point).
