D e l i c i o u s We came for the BOLA DO NATARIO - Obviously. We opted for the sitting rather than the queuing. We waited.. waited..and.. YES IT WAS WORTH IT. Warm.. creamy.. delicious. Would come back.. over n over again.

Wasn't quite sure what we got in line for but when the line is 40 deep at a pastry shop you know their doing something right. Took 30 min to get to the counter but it was worth every second. This little hot deliciousness is a must. We made the mistake of ordering two, for two people.....go ahead order more, you won't be sorry!
Very, very good pastry! However during summer it has huuuuuuuge queues to be served, which could be improved if more people were at front desk! Also, only starts serving Bolinhas de Berlim very late in the morning or afternoon. It is a fact that it should not become too commercial, but like this is simply frustrating!
Very unfriendly place. They make you feel like you are upsetting them. Don't have the traditional cakes, nor payment by card. They are stuck in 1980. Search for any other place.

Well, we went there to try the BOLAS de Berlim. After more than 20 min waiting in line we finally walk in and the guy says there are no more. After us there was a lot of people who also wanted the BOLAS. They should warn the customers.
Best \Bolas de Berlim\ (Berliner) in the world! Mandatory stop in the north Portugal.
