Beautiful apartment, breakfast delivered every morning with breads, cheeses, meats, and fruit. Center of the city, but you feel like your in a little oasis behind the walls with a nice pool and yard. Kid friendly and would definitely recommend!!

Having come from Porto and one of their excellent old hotels, my expectations for our time at the Solar were not very high. I had not taken the time to look at the website, so was not aware that we were coming to the "Jewel of Trancoso". The Hotel is a beautiful boutique experience, with each small detail of decor, function or view an example of loving thought and planning, done with style and just plain family room comfort. If we ever go to that part of the world again, there will only be one choice of where to stay. Dave and Nelie Tucker, Green Brook, New Jersey, USA.
A gem in Trancoso. Located inside the walls, this luxurious hotel is a rare find. Spacious room, comfy bed, pool, very good breakfast and a great host. If you visit Trancoso or its area, do sleep here; you will not be dissapointed (except of the fact that you need to leave and continue your journey).
Great location, really clean and cosy. The service was really friendly. Great breakfast. A lot of parking possibilities. It's nice to relax by the swimming pool on a hot day.
Excecional. Localização privilegiada no centro histórico, dentro das muralhas, a dois passos do castelo. Instalações bem decoradas e muito confortáveis, staff amabilíssimo e atento à satisfação dos hóspedes. A repetir. Recomendo vivamente
