Absolutely brilliant location, fantastic food and outstanding staff. We both had the tuna steak which was just a revalation. Great beers and wine. The best complete meal of the week. Completely socially distanced. Best to book the night before as table space has reduce the seating capacity.

We had a superb meal; the food was excellent (fried fish fillets and the house steak), very good wine list, port wine & fig ice cream.. A tin of sardines to start, prompt service from the waiters and kitchen staff. A deserved 5 stars.. And the very best Covid-19 cleanliness

Reservations are essential for this very popular restaurant. We both chose steaks which were cooked to perfection. Service was a little relaxed however it was very busy when we were there.

The restaurant has very recently had a makeover and the interior is now bright and very modern. The food is excellent and if you enjoy Portuguese cuisine but prefer a little more flair and innovative style of presentation then this is great place to dine. Here you can order typical Portuguese dishes such as tuna steak, Algarve style, grilled swordfish and fillet steak in pepper sauce. The fish soup is highly recommended and although considered a starter is almost a meal in itself. Then follow this with either a steak of your choice or the grilled swordfish with tartare sauce. The grilled tuna Algarve style is equally delicious.

Very accomodating to tourists, their menu was translated into many languages. Fairly priced for what you get. We had their tuna steaks, I highly recommend !

You wait a while for the food here because everything is cooked from scratch but boy is it worth the wait! Everything is well presented and the food is bursting with flavour. My swordfish was superb and my rather picky other half thought that the 21-day aged steak was absolutely delicious. The wines we tried really hit the mark too. The outdoor tables look onto the lovely Jardim da Alagoa so this restaurant has a great location. All in all, a wonderful experience.

So good we ate there 3 times in 2 weeks. The fresh tuna fish burger melts in the mouth. Staff lovely and friendly. Al fresco music one night was the icing on the cake. Met the owners, they were lovely too. Sits right next to the river - perfect!!

One of the best food here in Tavira, I ate chiken tikka and garlic Nan was delicious, waiter are friendly and behaviours was really good, I recommend people to come here and have some lovely Indian dishes..
