Loved it pity it doesnt happen more often

This mercado is held every 3rd Sat of minth. Arrived at 2pm when most of the stalls were wrapping up. Mostly clothes and footwear, not very interesting. A couple of mobile BBQ stalls offering chicken Peri-peri, but lacklustre. Better mercado on 2nd Sat of month at Castro Marim.

Ideal market for picking up all those bits and pieces u need but forget when at the shops. At the same time you can buy plants, chickens, cage birds, leather and cork products at low prices as well as traditional foods and ceramics.
