I love spicy food. And if you are a person who likes mouth burning stuff, than you should totally come here. My family and I have been there two times and we just love it. Might be going there for a third time.

An excellent meal. It is rare to find an Indian restaurant of this quality. The chef has a lot of talent and makes delicious, well balanced plates. The prawn puri was crisp with large prawns within the puri. The lamb karahi was one of the best curries I’ve ever had. The staff are very nice and provide good recommendations. I wish this restaurant was near my home!

We first arrived in Távira just before lunch time on 1st September, 2020, all the way from northern Alentejo, staying for 2 nights only. So we had researched potential places where to eat and we knew that we would find a good Indian restaurant. We also had our taste buds set on a Japanese meal but in the end we chose Dawat. And we did not regret it. It was a sunny day and the location was just right to get into our short break mood. It was quiet and perfect to enjoy a delicious meal. Portions were generous, the service very attentive and helpful. Though we enjoyed our selection, I wanted to point out that Dawat is where I have eaten the best garlic and coriander Naan. It was large, cooked with the right amount of crispiness and softness, deliciously melting with some gee I suppose, it was heavenly. Highly recommended on all accounts.
