The appetizer was really good: 3 dips. They can prepare every dish in a vegetarian style too. The only thing we didn't like to much was the rice.

Worst food I have ever eaten. The burrito chicken filling was with bones and skin. Blend taste and they we saw cockroaches walking freely

LET'S GO MEXICAN FOOD? More like, LET'S GO TO ONE OF THE BEST RESTUARANTS ON THE ISLAND. This incredible family owned restuarant has everything: mariachi music, friendly staff, warm chips, delicious burritos, kick-butt enchiladas, mouthwatering desserts, and spices so good that you will feel like you are back in Mexico. I don't drink, but the margaritas look very refreshing. If I could give 6 stars I would, but I can't. So 5 it is.

This review is way overdue. My husband and I spent 4 months traveling Europe for our honeymoon- 3 weeks were spent in Sao Miguel. We are from California so Mexican food is a huge part of our diet so needless to say we were missing it a lot. We found Let's Go Mexican Food and weren't expecting much. Boy were we surprised! We liked it so much we went back at least four times during our trip. We tried a bunch of different stuff and all of it was good. You can't go wrong with a wet burrito and a margarita. The owner and family are very nice and welcoming. The restaurant aesthetic is simple, cozy, and clean. If you are craving Mexican food then this is the place for you!

Food was tasty, but Fajitas were completely cold, even rice and beans. Since we were the only ones in the restaurant, it even took way too much time to deliver us our food. Manager then came to our table and apologized for any inconvenience and I really appreciate his professional approach. Because of his explanation I believe that was only exception. Thank you and we wish you good luck.

It's simply the worst Mexican food I ever had. Rice was definitely frozen rice, beans tasted as directly out of the can, tortillas were terrible, nothing, really absolutely nothing was good. And they take ages to serve the food. There might have been a time when the food here was good, but those times are gone now. And the bathrooms smelled strongly of sewage.

I’d go back just for their fresh, homemade chips with guac & salsa. Not to mention some of the tastiest margaritas (all with unique flavorings). Ingredients were fresh and the food was delicious. Very friendly and attentive service, too. A great meal to end a day of fun.

I am Mexican and came to visit the island. When I saw a Mexican restaurant, I had to go! Total came to 28 euros We had a margarita, a big bottle of water, home made chips w salsa, guac, and sour cream dip, 2 beef Gordita plates, and two espressos. The server was very friendly and spoke English and Portuguese. The service was fast and the food fresh. Everything was served hot and delicious! Not a lot of people and very nice inside with Mexican music playing. Definitely recommend trying at least once! Side note: The chips were over salted but still super good nonetheless
