If I could give 10 stars I would. 1. Service was amazing, Carlos was very informative on the history of the food and wine. And made excellent recommendations for wine. 2. Food was amazing, so fresh, delicious and with an awesome flavor palette. 3. Reasonably priced for the quality. I stumbled upon this place by accident, but so happy. All 4 of us said it was the best experience we had in Portugal so far.

Absolutely terrific restaurant. Octopus salad was especially superb. Lovely service and excellent wine advice. Ended the evening watching lovely Portuguese music selected for us on You Tube
Nice and cozy. Food waa good. Price was reasonable for the centre of Sintra. The waiter (only him working on the floor)was absolutely amazing!
We were originally planning to eat at the restaurant next door, but they weren’t open for another hour so we went here. We weren’t disappointed one bit! Not only was the food delicious (black pork, fried sardines, soft cheese, wine), but the wait staff was hilarious and engaging. Our server convinced us to have a few aperitifs after we ate, and they were delicious! Skip the place upstairs, this is the spot in Sintra.
Perfect octopus!! Price was fine really centric...just remember they always charge the entrees even if u don't order them...but the same in every Portuguese restaurant! Honestly the food totally worth it!
What a fantastic little find in one of the narrow streets of Sintra! The interior was very cosy and inviting, filled with lots of Portuguese ceramic tiles. We got the grilled Portuguese cod, and octopus and shrimp, both of which were very good and fresh. The vegetables on the side were cooked well but a little bland. The waiter (Carlos) was friendly, enthusiastic and very knowledgeable regarding all the different wines and liqueurs they had. Overall it was a great way to end our day trip to Sintra.
Fantastic service and even better food! Wiped our seafood rice clean, and loved the cakes. Carlos even let us try some port wine at the end, which was a great end to our meal. Highly recommended!
