It’s worth going. I didn’t expect it to be so convenient to book from Ctrip. There are quite a lot of people in line. I saw a lot of classical furniture including many Chinese porcelains. The Pena Palace is built on a hilltop and the surrounding environment is very good.

Really nice castle in Sintra, colorful, eye-catching, and well maintained! The palace also has a very interesting history so be sure to catch that! The interior however wasn’t as grand as the exterior so I don’t really recommend purchasing a ticket for it. We had fun exploring the castle on a winter morning but quick tip: the palace can be very windy so dress accordingly! We came here on a winter morning expecting mild temps but the real feel was way colder than we were expecting! The cafeteria was not bad and had decent prices so no worries if you’re suddenly hungry while you’re here. We ate so much for 30 euro but the choices were not many.

My favourite experience in Sintra/ Lisbon. Well worth a visit. The castle is remarkable and you can get some great pictures. Reccommend combining your ticket with the one for the Moors (worth seeing both). You can also get a handy bus from the square instead of walking up. Tickets can be bought from the local tourist office, which is a 10 minute walk from the train station.

First of all, you should visit this castle if you travel to Portugal. This is my favourite Sintra/ Lisbon location. Secondly, It is definitely well-worth to visit. The castle is impressive and you'll see some amazing photos. You can go there by bus. It's free to enter the site, but you have to buy a ticket if you want to visit inside the palace. Buying a ticket online is suggested. You can see the original furniture inside the palace. It is possible to buy tickets from the local tourist office.

If you have little time to spend, it is the palace to visit. You can both enjoy the national park and the magnificent romantic Palace. One of the few castles I have ever visited which is still authentic. The national park is a great treasure. I felt so well in it. You can hear the birds sing, visit a lot of places like the stables, the high cross, the chalet. Count 3 to 4 hours of visit if you wanna check all the areas. 2 hours with a fast tour of the castle and the park. Beware of the taxi riders, they can sell you some lies like the bus won't come, you will have to wait a lot, just to sell you a ride.

Amazing palace. Very beautiful views. Nearby there is a nice-looking castle. Chargeable entry, but it worth it. It’s difficult to find parking there, so you’d better take taxi or smth. One of the most gorgeous palaces in Europe, the best in Portugal for sure!

We walked from Sintra to the top of the mountain, to be met by an amazing palace. The exterior is something exceptional, the outside walls are covered in hand-crafted, colourful tiles which makes the palace different from many other palaces. The interior has been fitted with furniture used by the king and queen of Portugal - kept the way it was in 1910. The palace provides a glimpse of what the inhabitants' lives must have been like, even to the cutlery and crockery.

Fairytale Castle surrounded by one of the best parks I've ever seen! Worth to spent several hours just walk the trails.
