Perhaps the easiest levada walk gets to one of the most spectacular viewpoints in the whole island. It’s suitable for all ages and is usually misty. Although the fog blocks the views but I also found it quite ethereal to see those trees and canaries in thick fog.

Nice views. Easy walking but because of that a lot of tourists. It's great fun to feed birds with your hand.
Short hike(1,5 km) but a stunning view. Make sure to check the weather otherwise you might see nothing at all.
The easiest hike has to be this one and has a magnificent view on Pico Arieiro and surrounding mountains. To get to the almost 360 degrees platform, you’ll walk in the forest next to the levadas. It's a good place to see flying creatures in Madeira, make sure to have your eyes and ears open! Not so much parking available, you can just park next to the road if full.
Many hidden places where you can venture and be one with nature! My personal favorite is going down to the creek and under the bridge.. truly amazing! Also the view point at the end is magnificent!
Easy hiking with nice views along. The highlight of the hiking is the final when you reach the \Miradouro\ with fantastic mountain and sea views in the heights.
At least half of this trail is easy for everyone. At some point, there's a way to descend to the main road, but the ride is worth the trouble. Breath taking views and the freshest air.
Very nice hike into a well maintained path that is finishing with an awesome view of all the center of Madeira mountains ! The hike is very easy, for everyone, and the path is very well delimited. It takes about 1h to go and come back. The view from the balconies is splendid if the weather is fine and you will be able to see the sea, the pico Ruivo and the pico Arieiro !
