It’s a must-do while you’re in Madeira. The houses are quite adorable and distinctive. It doesn’t take a long time to see the houses and there’s not much else to do in Santana, so make sure visiting the village is a part of a longer day-long tour.
Really good place to visit and spend a full morning or afternoon, it is a place were you can enjoy your time by learning more about madeira island. They have a few interactive pavilions a nice artificial lake where you can row a small boat... The activities are really cool to be honest! Worth the visit!
The staff are the best, they are really friendly, they welcomed us in every exhibition building like long-missed grandchildren. That was a heart-warming experience, and thank you, guys. The theme park is nice, well-kept and interesting, so I absolutely didn't understand, why was the park soo empty. OK, it was raining, but we were the only visitors, which I find strange. So I highly recommend to visit, because that is not crowded and really entertaining place to visit!

It presents itself as a fantastic exhibition grounds dedicated to history, to science and the Archipelago of Madeira Tradition. The Madeira Theme Park is an ample space with 7 hectares of floor area, where visitors of all ages can embark on a journey Discover Madeira and Porto Santo, get to know their history, become acquainted with the culture and traditions of their people, vibrate with the unusual beauty of their landscapes, explore a huge garden park, feel the power of a living and unique nature. The creation of this infrastructure is the responsibility of the Vice-Presidency of the Regional Government of Madeira, through the Sociedade de Desenvolvimento do Norte SA. The Theme Park portrays the history of Madeira, but at the same time offers contents of a pedagogical-scientific nature. and outdoor spaces is the ethnographic history of Madeira with the specific characteristics of an insular region. the enclosure with an area of 145,000 square meters, including parking for 274 vehicles, it is designed to captivate tourists and residents. There are several spaces dedicated to children and young people, including extreme activities, as well as a restaurant and bar. Enjoy!
