Top notch Madeira food . Picado is the classic and must have dish . Small size is plenty for 2 people . Staff are amazing and friendly. Gets busy so maybe good to call ahead . Poncha regional or with mandarin and very nice, quite strong alcoholic drinks

Picado with chicken and beef, one of the heartiest meals I've had in some time. The small size is more than enough for one hungry person, probably good for sharing too. I can't even begin to imagine the large size.
We didn't really want much to eat but the local dish that looked like stew on the menu was what my husband had. Mixed meat, beef, pork, chicken chopped up and cooked in a delicious gravy ( they called it sauce) with French fries, a couple of beers and a chinese (white coffee) for me.
Amazing place to eat the famous \picado\ and \prego\. They offer different things and for all the budgets. Even a simple portion of chips with the house special gravy it's delicious and cost's only 2,70 . Super recommed this place and the staff is very friendly ! 5* plus
Very nice little spot. Good sunshine and happy staff.
Lovely service and food! I had \picado de vaca\, tasty and rich sauce. My only criticism is I've found the meat a bit chewy but apart from that no other negatives. I've also tried Poncha Reginal and Poncha Pescador.. sooo good, loved it. Service 5 stars
