We did a few wine tastings in Alentejo wineries and this one was by far the best. Lovely tour guide with a real passion for the place and the wines were absolutely amazing! The tasting is served with delicious food pairings which was a really lovely touch. Very affordable experience too. 10/10 would go again. P.S.: the attention of the staff cannot be highlighted enough. A group next to us had brought a child to the wine tasting and the staff promptly brought him orange juice and other treats, allowing the parents to enjoy the day in ease

My favorite winery in the Alentejo!! The wine is fantastic! The winery tasting room is beautiful and has a wonderful view as you enjoy your wines and complimentary snacks. The staff is great, especially Miguel who did an amazing job - he is clearly passionate about Ervideira and wine and taught us so much about the wine and winery and was fun to talk with. We would return again and again!! The personal aspect of the winery makes it special , it is not a huge industrial vineyard but has a cozy family vibe to it.
Fit us in for a tasting as a walk-in and had very generous snacks and pours. Prices for the wine was also great!

On a recent trip to Évora Portugal, we found the Ervideira Winery tasting room. I’m sorry I can’t remember the names of the two lovely women that let us taste the wine, but they were fabulous! This wine! We are enjoying 2018 Private Selection Vinho Branco that we shipped back to Colorado USA and I’m regretting not getting a few bottles of that “water wine”!
