The staff here are amazing and friendly. The exhibits are interesting. I enjoyed how they incorporated outer space, space travel, astronomy, and navigation all together. If you are lucky, the clouds will clear and you can see something in the observatory. The night skies in the Azores are not to be missed.

Small, but surprisingly great place! ️ I really enjoyed the passionate guided tour / verbal explanation as much as the different learning activities and learning “boxes”. We were so busy with all what we saw that we forgot to take pictures Prepare easily for 1-2 or more hours up to your taste to explore all what this space can offer (spoiler - indoor bike virtually around planets! ).

Amazing experience for only 2 euros/person (whaat)! Guides were very friendly, nice and knowledgeable. The centrum has lot of interesting activities (for example stacionary bike). We felt there very good and learnt a lot. Hidden gem!

Osservatorio molto interessante, prezzo molto basso solo 2 euro per persona. Guida era molto gentile e preparata. È possibile provare varie attività ed esperimenti. Abbiamo apprezzato un documentario sull'origine della vita all'interno di un osservatorio astronomico trasportabile. Super consigliato! Very interested place very low price just 2 euro per person. Guide was very friendly and prepared. Is it possibly to try very interesting activities. We spent 25 minutes inside the Observatory to see a documentary about the beginning of live on our planet.... highly recommend!
