Lovely vibey setting. Lots of locals... Then you know it's good. We had the house specialty... Piri Piri chicken. It was awesome. Small but tasty chickens. It's more authentic oily Piri Piri rather than the Mozambique style. Not too hot.

Great little find, very popular with the locals. Excellent chicken and home made desserts. There is a full menu which is good value. English spoken.

Went here because of all the great reviews, and that was a foolish decision. The chicken was swimming in a pool of oil and had bloody bones, and the salmon was completely raw and cold in the middle. The waitress didn't crack a smile once, was very rude and had very little English. We had to go and eat dinner somewhere else afterwards.

Been visiting this restaurant for at least 12 years, the chicken piri piri is the best! I had my 60th birthday party here, and was made to feel really welcome by Victor, Maria and Felix. I hope to visit again soon Ron and Jenny Crawford. UK.

By far the best restaurant in the country, I suggest everyone try everything on the menu, especially \Bacalhau à lagareiro\ and \Carne de porco à alentejana\! The cod was very soft, cooked perfectly, going well with sour onion and boiled potato, and the pork was really tender rich with flavour and clam adding a slight hint of the ocean. Of course, you can try chicken piripiri too, which was also amazing.
