La bibliothèque de la Faculté des Lettres est un espace de travail très agréable. Elle forme comme une espèce de tour de laquelle on admire fort bien la fleuve et Gaïa de l'autre côté. Le coup d'œil est absolument époustouflant. Si elle ne compte pas parmi les bibliothèques les mieux dotées elle est cependant très riche pour l'histoire et les sujets en lien avec le Portugal. La bibliothèque est également dotée d'une belle collection de revues.
