The staff was super friendly and super professional. The space is very pleasant as well. The food was very, very good. The sushi was fresh, full of flavor and well thought out. Probably one of the best I ever had. The fish was always the focus of each piece and one could definitely taste it. We also had the ramen and it was very good as well. For desert we had the chocolate fondant with salted caramel and it didn’t disappoint - superb. The only downside: it’s on the expensive side. The sushi specially and the starters specially are probably a bit outside the “fair” range - despite being great.

This place has a true izakaya feeling. The staff is super helpful and are always ready to suggest the best dishes on the menu. This is my go to place when it comes to Japanese food in Porto.

We ordered there through uber eats tonight. Tonkatsu arrived without rice, the sushi 13 pcs is a joke : 24 for salmon and last but not least we had to call them to receive our bottle of wine which arrived 25mins after (already ate my plate). Total disaster, 80 for this is a rip off.

Very nice food. The sushi was one of the best I've ever eaten. The ramen was very good too. The restaurant is very well decorated, simple and cosy. The service was 5*. Perfect for a calm and tasty dinner. The only thing that was not in the high standards was the dessert, which didn't like it so much .. although I'll visit it again without any doubt. Recommended

I wouldn’t go to this side of the city if it wasn’t to try Ikeda but it’s really worth it. From the ambience, the decor and the service everything was perfect. If like me you love Japanese cuisine you will enjoy your time there. We’ve tried the omelette and scallops as a starter followed by the chirashi and the chef’s nigiri selection with rainbow maki and it was delicious! I rarely have desert in a Japanese restaurant but please don’t miss these!

Delicious Japanese Restaurant. I had a lunch and ordered sushi & sashimi set and my wife oedered zirashi. Fish quality was so fresh and they had use really good quality of fishes. Some of japanese place use cheap frozen fishes for less price, but this place was not like that. Just one thing is they put lots of sliced radish on zirashi dish, but it’s ok. Great atmostphere, very kinds server. Love this place.
