While checking for accommodations we luckily discovered this hidden gem. It was such an amazing experience and the hosts, made our stay at the Azores even better! Daniele and Debra are very opened minded and helpful persons. When we asked for recommendations they always took their time to provide us with the best tips. Not only the hosts, the house itself, is on point and it tells its own Story.. Every room is treated with a lot of details (handmade) and the big room upstairs with a sea view is the place to be to enjoy breakfast. Totally recommend this place, we will be back!

An amazing week in an amazing place. Davide and Deborah are both great owners that shares their positive vibes with all the guests. The house is really well made and super cozy, I think I was very lucky to spend my time on the island in this accommodation. The location is comfortable and close to the best attractions of the island, it is the perfect base to discover all the beautiful places around. I wish to be back soon!
Absolutely, the most suitable place for holidays in São Miguel. Davide's and Deborah's guest house was exactly what we needed, as it's location is easily accesible, close to super/mini markets and restaurants, as well as to the beach and nature. The house itself looks very good, well furnished, everything being well organized, clean and peaceful. No matter the chosen room, you can enjoy a lovely garden, with table and chairs for meals, and even a fireplace (strongly recommend it during the night while watching stars). Expect two white adorable cats to sparkle your stay ;) Last but not least, our staying wouldn't have been so good without our super-friendly and helpful hosts. Thank you, once again, for everything!!
“Home sweet home” this is what I felt every time I was entering at the Handmade House. Very nice hosts with who we shared good conversations, tips, exchange culture and food ! Thanks a lot Deb & Davide for your kindness and make us part of the handmade house family. I had an amazing stay and confort there. I will definitely come back there l!! :)
Best place to stay, in the center of a small and quiet village near Ribeira Grande. The view from the terrace is amazing, the ocean and the cliff, the green hill and the village and the church. The house is huge, it has a lot of common space on three floors and I adore the accurate handmade details, I felt really at home and the last but not least the garden, very special place for barbecue, romantic dinner, bonfire and a beautiful hammock. Special thanks to the owners Deb and Davide who are kind and friendly people with whom it has been nice to spend some time with.
Great landlords, beautiful house, good location
Ein wunderschöner Ort, um seinen Urlaub auf den Azoren zu verbringen!! Mein Freund und ich sind zum Surfen und Wandern auf die Azoren gereist und haben uns sehr wohl und willkommen bei Deborah&Davide gefühlt. Die beiden sind ein junges, super freundliches Paar aus Italien und haben das Handmade House sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. Man kann mit Meerblick frühstücken oder Yoga auf der Terrasse machen und der Garten lädt zum Sonnen ein. Surfsports, Wanderorte, die Thermalbäder und weitere Sehenswürdigkeiten sind alle zwischen 10-20 min mit dem Auto entfernt. Eine kleine Bucht direkt nahe des Hauses lässt sich wunderbar fußläufig erreichen. Wir können das Handmade House wärmstens weiterempfehlen und würden jederzeit wieder dort Urlaub machen!
