Stunning place with a really informative tour. Choose the slightly more expensive tour with the 5 tastings. Lots of information and ŕeally wonderful port - the LBV 2015 is stunning.

We had the nicest tour (during Covid times) with our guide Rita - she was super nice, spoke English perfectly and was able to explain everything we wanted to know to such a detail - would give 6* if I could!!
I did the Dona Antónia tour at Ferreira. It was very interesting and took you round the cellars, ending in 5 (generously sized) Port wine tasters. The tasting was excellent, and taught me a lot about the variation in Port styles (we had a white, a ruby, a 10 year tawny, 20 year tawny, and an LBV). However, the tour itself only lasted for 50 minutes and did not go particularly in-depth on the history of the cellar as I had hoped. The elevated price of this tour, as opposed to the Classic tour, seems to be for the added value of the large tasting rather than a more thorough distillery tour. I would still recommend it
This is definitely the best Port Wine cellar experience available. Family owned but with great organization, specialist staff and an amazing tasting and store at the end! A must if you are in Oporto!

Short but informative tour. It tales you round all the basics of the Ferreira winery and gives you some background and history. The tour was given in English. I did the premium tour and tasted 3 ports at the end. That were all great
Fun your through the dark port wine cellars. The tours are timed by language, so arrive early and be prepared to wait a little. Our guide was very knowledgeable and made it fun. I would suggest going for the 'premium' tour option with three port wine tastings at the end. Be prepared to leave a little buzzed!
We had a premium tour for 17. Very friendly tour guide, she explained everything, answered all questions. This includes 3 glasses of special port wine, branco, 10yrs old tawny and vintage ruby. Overall great experience.
