Sometimes words cannot describe an experience but let me try it anyway. Straight away i felt at home in this little mountain paradise and the family welcomed me with open arms. The amazing views, the energy of this place, the yummy food and the way i was received make this a place one to recommend to everyone. I feel gratitude in my heart and my soul for my stay here. Thank you so much!

Such a peaceful retreat buried in the Madeira countryside. The family takes you in as one of their own and Cilene is a fabulous cook. The ingredients come straight from their garden! The views of the ocean, mountains, and spectacular Madeiran foliage are out of this world. There’s also an on-site massage and yoga studio with reasonable prices. This has been a unique and special experience for me to stay here and I’d highly recommend this place!
I, having a Ph.D. in soil science and agriculture, offered to help on this farm over their volunteering program. Owners never replied to any emails. After a call, the owner admits he "doesn't reply to English emails", he only works with people who speak French (even though the website has an extra "we speak English" bottom). Too bad they are not more open at this place!

Une fabuleuse retraite de 6 jours de randonnée, yoga et méditation, dans la maison Ziazen de Cilene et Antoine. Le tout avec de délicieux repas et dans un cadre magique. Je ne pouvais pas rêver mieux pour profiter de Madère.
L'accueil est chaleureux, sympathique, naturel présent sans être envahissant. Nous avons pu découvrir la nature de l'île de Madère grâce à Antoine qui est un vrai guide de montagne, connaissant parfaitement les randonnées qu'il propose et qui sait adapter ses propositions aux besoins de chacun. Attention alliée à une grande connaissance de l'île, de sa flore, de ses merveilleux PANORAMAS et... de son humour! Cilène, prof de yoga, masseuse, cuisinière hors pair, une hôtesse merveilleuse qui nous fait apprécier chaque instant passés en sa compagnie. Merci Cilène pour m'avoir rendue capable de tester le Yoga aérien, quelle belle découverte! Merci pour nous avoir reçus avec tant de gentillesse et d'attention. Je ne saurais rien dire de plus, sauf: Nous reviendrons !!!
