Nice, clean and quite spacious apartments directly in the city center nearby the Douro River and all tourist attractions. The staff is helpful and friendly. We would certainly come back!

Location: perfect. Close to restaurants, stores & supermarket. Apartment: I stayed in the 3A, after 60 steps up, it is worth it. Modern apartment with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Very clean. The kitchen has everything you need. Check in: their office is located in front of the building. If you arrive after 18h00, you will need the code for the main door and the safety box with the apartment keys. All that information is sent to you by email. Very nice service. Parking: you need to find a paid parking around the area.
What a clever and well put together Boutique Hotel. Pros- *Beautiful. The building has been renovated to turn what had been apartments into a hotel experience. They have done a good job of preserving the history and beauty of the environment. While it feels historical you still have modern conveniences. *The staff is beyond helpful. Upon checking in, they poured over the map with us; helping us to make the best use of our time in Porto. *Breakfast. You will be sent an email in order to choose your breakfast each day. You don't have to use this option, but what a convenient way to start the day. A bag containing your choices is set outside your door at 8:00. Easy as that . *Location.. The hotel is in a great location to walk to many of the sites. Cons- *None, really. Perhaps if you are looking for a place with a lift/elevator you will be disappointed. You will have to lug your bag up the beautiful old staircase. I say, pack light. You will leave with more than you arrived with.

Beautiful little appartment for 2 of us over the Christmas period. Didn't get to enjoy one of the magnificent ceilings...so do ask when booking if an appartment with one is available... but our space had some nice period features and some very clever modern design to convert the space into facility rich, well organized accomodation. Good area...with the main theatre, cafes and Xmas market. Lovely Christmas eve experience in the local ancient blue&white tiled church.
