I can't believe you have to pay for a coffee in Mercedes. Maybe it's just me or the fact I'm from England (they are always free in the UK) For me charging for coffee while you wait for a car service is a shocking!

Took car for its first service arrived on time but long wait just to drop off the key in baking heat. No eye contact from staff or apology for the wait and this is supposed to be a premium dealership. When we went to pick the car up it wasn’t ready although we did arrive early but at least should have been offered water or coffee. Some screen settings had been changed and not put back how they were which took a while to figure out. Cost of the service 364 Euros including IVA so basically extortionate for what is essentially an oil and filter change. Quoted 356 Euros so why the extra 8 Euros? The warranty runs out next year and we won’t go back to Star Sul.

last year I was driving my 320 CDI in the Algarve when the air suspension on the rear axle was defective. The car was towed to StarSul in Portimão and about 3 weeks later I was able to take back the car epaired\. Back in Germany showed up however, that the air suspension could not hold pressure. Every morning the car stood again collapsed at the place. In the Daimler-Benz authorized workshop in Erlangen it was determined that the repair had been carried out improperly. The element to be replaced, the rubber bellows and the pressure-retaining vessel are one unit and firmly connected to a hose ex factory. At Star Azul, the hose was simply cut off and the rubber bellows installed and the old pressure vessel was connected to a hose fastened by a hose tie. That doesn't work like that they told me at DB. My complaint at Mercedes-Benz Customer Assistance Center Maastricht resulted in the free replacement of the component (approx. 500 ), but StarAzul refused to refund the repair costs. Thus I remained on about 1500, - doubly accomplished labor costs. I find it a very bad style, if one does not feel responsible as a company for caused damages. Michael Müller

Afraid I have to give these guys 1 star. Brough a Mercedes to this garage since I stranded just outside of portimao. Took some days before they startend looking at the car since they where busy. Some phone calls and t Days later the car seemed to be good, so we could pick it up. Then at the garage an other story was told, that they needed more research and probably special security items had to be bought from Germany.... Dont go here. Maffia practices. Local taxi drivers all go to FARO.
