defo worth it, awesome beach, indoor pool, outdoor pool, gym, decent breakfast, everything according to corona rules, super nice, very friendly and helpful staff, we are very happy to have chosen this place for our last day at the algarve. much love and all the best for the future!

Beautiful beach. Clean, modern, and large rooms with comfy bed. Not a friendly welcome by the doorman at entrance to registration. Actually quite rude. Seems a bit expensive for how empty it is in October.
UPDATE: This year I went back here although the plan was to experience the Blue, due to the recent pandemic we were given the opportunity to change to this one with all included like it was in the Blue. We accepted and couldn't be happier all things went smoothly and the safety procedures were all in place overall a very safe feeling was transmitted during our stay in the hotel. The staff always friendly and helpful and always concern. The food was very delicious and well prepared from breakfast to dinner never disappointed. The cleaning of the rooms was quick and efficient without any issues. Overall it was a different experience but a very pleasant one really enjoyed my time in the company of Pestana Alvor Praia staff. OLD: Overall this is truly and amazing place, true it may be a bit expensive for some but one does not only pay the staying but the overall experience it feel as soon as it reaches the hotel the entrance is magnificent and it overwhelms everyone that enters Magnificent Place Reasonable Price
The most disappointed i have been in a hotel, let alone a 5 star hotel. Cheap. As soon as i walked in i had to wait ages to check in done. The rooms were old and small, the pillows are uncomfortable and lets not even go to the mattress. The bathroom is old, small, cheap and needs maintenance. Was moldy and there was a piece that came off the bath tub that just made me want to leave. During the night i could hear people passing by and chatting not ideal. The other issue is the lack of care in the swimming pool. There is no pool service and no one taking care of the outdoor pool/spa/gym.. no one checking how many people are in the indoor pool no one checking sanitation! I saw the same couple of chairs being used by three different couples in the same day woth no cleaning in between them. The beach towels are kid sized and the towel hut opens at 2pm?!? They show beach chairs at the beach but there is nothing like that to be seen.. very disappointed, felt like a 3 star Another note but this one is actually personal taste - too many big groups
Nice hotel with a beautiful outside pool and good service. The beach is only a few steps down and can even be reached by elevator. Good food and bars, only lots of people who block the sunbeds at the pool for the whole day while actually using them only occasionally.
Amazing place to relax and enjoy good things. Small things make the difference. Great service!
The view from the hotel and access to the beach - deserve 5 star rating.. Service requires some improvement, more smiles and greetings...
I wanted to go 4 stars on it but apart from the amazing location and the surprisingly large suite rooms/views I was left disappointed by the facilities, food and lack of cleaning in the rooms (dusty and previous guest nappy was left in the bin. That left a smell!). Bad swimming pool (not heated and tiny). Beautiful beach though.
