Beautiful hotel in perfect location on the sea. I highly recommend the executive double suite on the top floor facing the sea. The smaller rooms are also very spacious and well equipped with all the regular amenities of this standard of hotel. Lots of very nice local restaurants and a little supermarket across the road. Positioned in an exclusive part of the Algarve, I feel safe to walk outside at night. Lovely walk to the the historical military fort at the end of the road. Easy access for wheelchair and disabled people and if you fancy your chances, there is of course the big casino on the lower 2 levels. One of my regular favourite places.

Great location. Lovely terrace bar, impeccable service from the bartenders. The rest, not so much. Pool is decent but there's no service what so ever. I stayed for a week at one of the cheaper rooms (first floor, street view) and while paying for five, experienced a two- or three-star hotel. Outside my room was a ventilation duct, apparently missing a diffuser, horribly noisy. Air-conditioning just wasn't working. Room outdated, probably great in the 80's. The indifference from reception regarding the bugs in my room was the most fascinating part of my stay: he had them at home and was still alive, so nothing to worry about, expressed nuisance went well above their heads. Will definitely not visit again.
Not Pet friendly. Rude staff. Not clean. Not a 5* hotel by ANY mean. Not worth.
DON'T GO ... IT IS NOT A 5 STAR HOTEL. It is worth a 3 star not more. No way to get water or a coffee for a business meeting nor a drink at night. Amazing. You want to smoke a cigar .... no lighter nor matches. Pool is closed very early. Laundry takes more than 48 hours. All of this seems to be pretty normal for the employees ... First time ever I've experienced a service like this in a 5-stars hotel.
Its always good fun because of the ground floor casino. I won also!!!
It’s an amazing hotel and with a nice decor and a good breakfast and swimming pool. The only thing I have to say it that’s there’s no internet in the bedroom and this is awful.
Hotel is a fabulously located. The hotel is old and needs updating slightly but has excellent facilities. The rooms are reasonable, but the issue is they do not have hot drink making facilities in any rooms. The breakfast is very very poor for a supposed 5 star. Poorest breakfast I've had in a 5 star. The hotel In reality is a 4 star but charging 5 star prices due to its location on the beach.
