I cannot say enough good things about this shop and the lessons here. First they are so welcoming and encouraging, even/especially of first time surfers. My teenagers weren't sure about trying surfing, and after 2 lessons they want more! We had hoped for nicer weather during spring break, but it was not important with beautiful beaches, great waves to learn to surf, and great teachers wetsuits! We are definitely coming back for a 3rd lesson tomorrow and hopefully again in future holidays. Highly recommend this shop.

After looking in several surf schools in Peniche we finally decided for this one and we were not disappointed. Lessons were great, with small groups and adapted to your level. Moreover, they took pictures of you during the class. The teacher Francisco was extraordinary and all the staff was really friendly. The material was also great. We will return for sure!

The best surf lessons we've ever experienced. Amazing coach, conditions, place, equipment and perfectly friendly atmosphere. On the top we got pictures from our lesson too. What else you need? We can highly recommend!

Can't recommend these guys highly enough. I had a couple of lessons with different surf shops in the area and G3 were the best. Very professional, and they keep the group lesson sizes small. Will use G3 again next time I'm in Peniche for lessons and rentals.

I cannot say enough good things about the crew that work in the G3 Store Surf Center. So friendly and helpful... I had about a 25 min walk with my surfboard to the beach and I asked one of the guys from the shop, \was there any chance I could leave my board in the shop\, instead of having to carry it back and forth to the beach and it wasn’t a problem, and that was before I bought anything from the shop or booked any lessons. I booked a few private lessons with Francisco and it was a game changer... Unlike most of the other surf schools, Francisco isn’t interested in catching waves when he is coaching you, he supervises you from the beach to analysis your surfing technique and has great analytical skills. He calls you in after you catch about 5 waves and goes through your technique, from where your arms and hands should be, to opening up your chest, to your foot stance, your whole-body shape and just to relax on the board. He has a great way of explaining things with really simple examples. He said to me on my 1st lesson “that it would be like taking 2 steps backwards to take 1 step forwards” and it definitely felt like that after the 1st lesson but after only 3 lessons I feel I have taken 3 steps forward and 1 step back. Hopefully I will be back next year and the 1st thing I will be doing is booking myself in for a few more lessons with Francisco. Once again thank you for your kindness and being so helpful… Without a doubt the best surf school and surf shop in Peniche… If your in Peniche you have to check out their stores...
