First booking: I have had only wonderful experiences with Surf Lisbon. After I arrived to Lisbon to work for 5 months, I was looking for a surf school that could teach me how to surf. I found their website via Google and decided to book a session. (website and communication is in English if you prefer, which is very convenient). Pick-up service: I did not yet know the city and where surfing was possible. However, Surf Lisbon took away that concern since they offer pick-up service from convenient locations in the city. 'Marques de Pombal' in my case. Teachers and lessons: With regards to the lessons, I have always felt save and in professional hands. The teachers really know how to teach and have a passion for surfing. The pleasant relationship with the teachers and anyone related to the school makes me want to write this review. The teachers make the lessons fun and something to look forward to. Package bundles: What I found really convenient were the different package options offered by the school. I purchases a number of packages (5, 10 lessons). This was convenient since I could decide myself when I would 'use' the lessons I had bought.

Had my first ever surf experience with the guys from Surf Lisbon and I'd say it couldn't have been any better. From the teachers to the housemaid to the owner, they were all so lovely. When I entered the house for the first time I honestly felt at home almost instantly. The house is so comfy and you can just freely enjoy yourself. And also important of course, the surf lessons were great, all of us just had so much fun, the teachers manage to fool around, making jokes and motivate you at the same time so you could really increase your surf skills every day. All in all I just had one of the best weeks of my life and will definitely come back!

A Great learning experience with personalized lessons, always small groups of up to 5 people, and teachers really pointing out all the ways to better technique and practice. Boards are provided and adapted to your level and the amazing great vibe of the teachers really give you the confidence to succeed Highly Recommend!!

I booked a half day lesson with Surf Lisbon and it was perfect. We were a group of 12 but there were 4 instructors. We took a few minutes on the beach to get the basics, then we hit the waves. The instructors were spaced out and helped each person prepare for the coming wave and throughout the ride, instructed what to do. If we made mistakes, they were sure to tell us how to correct it. I was very happy with the results as I rode several waves and it was my first time. Thanks guys for a great experience.

If I were to choose an highlight for 2020 it would definitely be my stay at Surf Lisbon and the surfing lessons. The instructors go above and beyond to make the lessons pleasant and enjoyable for everyone, even if everyone has a different surfing level. I feel accomplished after every lesson and I always feel I learnt something and improved something. The House is incredible. Amazing vibe, amazing view and location, really cozy and comfortable. Whether you're traveling alone or with friends you'll feel at home and you'll definitely feel welcome by the staff. I cannot emphasize enough how incredible the staff is. 10/10.

If you are not look for fun, don't come here, because this is the most funniest and amazing surf lessons I have ever been along with the greatest instructors. Every lesson you have a new goal to improve your surf but also they make sure you are enjoying it. Their spirits will lift you up if you are having a bad day :)! The atmosphere between the instructors and the students is just beyond. One of the best things that happen to me in 2020. I stayed in the surf house and I don't have words to describe, except AMAZING. It is so cozy, clean, spacious and top location, you just don't want to leave it, because you will feel it's your home. Thank you SurfLisbon for everything!! 10/10

Comment only about the surf lessons: Great school of surf, the team of teachers is very nice, cool, and funny. Except one lesson where the waves were very strong, I always got advices in the water, and they always provided momentum to catch waves. Finally, this is to me a very good ratio quality price, especially to start, taking into account transport rent of the board and suit (max 35 euros without a pack of lessons). So, thank you for the lessons guys, good luck during this covid period and I hope to see you again.

Best Surfhostel ever. So I became a regular guest, for the last 4 years in average twice a year:) They became friends for me. I always met interesting international people. Nice rooms, nice view to the Tajo, close to the city via train, very nice and professional surf teachers:) I can really recomend this lovely place.
